ABSTRACT
A multimeter is simply the combination of three
electric meters as they are it the voltímetro, the
ammeter and the ohmiómetro; this you could
also denominate polímetro or tester and it is
used basically for the calculation of the current,
the voltage and the resistance of electronic
elements. Mainly multímetros of two classes
exists; the analogical one and the digital one,
this last one is at the moment the more used,
reflective the signs or the measures by means of
digits in a screen while the analogical one
possesses a scale of measures in a board and a
needle that responds to some impulses
generated by a conductive element by means of
the terminals of this multímetro.
On the other hand the oscilloscope is a
mensuration instrument that projects electric
signs in a screen in form of coordinated "X" and
"Y"; the axis X is the horizontal one which shows
times, while the axis Y it is vertical and it
represents tensions; the same as the
multímetros, exists of two classes, analogical and
digital.
Basically, an oscilloscope possesses two controls;
one to regulate the axis X that measures
fractions of time like seconds, milliseconds or
microseconds and another to regulate the axis Y
which measures volts, mili volts, micro volts, etc.
in form technique one can say that the
oscilloscope is good to observe the sign that they
wants to measure.
